Aussie Beef Mates : Women In The Food Industry Bristol Lunch – Monday 10th June 2024
Women in the Food Industry & The Chefs Forum hosted a lunch at City Restaurant, City of Bristol College on Monday 10th June, prepared by leading local chefs and students. Showcasing the finest Aussie beef, thanks to Aussie Beef Mates guests enjoyed a creative menu expertly prepared by: Kasae Fraser (MasterChef The Professionals 2024 Finalist, Brinda Bungaroo (Brinda’s Mauritius Delights), Charlotte Vincent (National Chef of the Year Finalist 2023 and Great British Menu contestant), Caley Briddick (Freelance Chef), and Lucy Bowden (The Cross Keys Inn Cawsand ).
City Restaurant at College Green is located near the beautiful harbourside in Bristol, and provides students with an inspiring, industry-standard environment to learn and practise their skills. City of Bristol College lecturers provide expert teaching, guidance and supervision to help their students progress into thriving careers. Lunchtime menus change weekly and always focus on serving seasonal local produce, with the kitchen and front of house both staffed by catering students.

The lunch was a treat of real theatre, showcasing the best produce and equipment at City of Bristol College. The talented chefs showcased their signature dishes and culinary skills as we enjoyed a spectacular lunch.
