What we eat can play an important role in how we feel, function and thrive through perimenopause and menopause. But with so much conflicting information out there, how do we separate nutritional science from the noise?
For World Menopause Awareness Month 2026 join Women in the Food Industry at the University of Greenwich – recognised as the first university in England to achieve Menopause Friendly Employer accreditation – for an engaging, interactive afternoon exploring the role of nutrition in menopause and perimenopause, bringing together leading nutritional experts, women’s health advocates and innovative food and drink brands.
Whether you’re navigating menopause yourself, supporting others, working in nutrition and wellbeing, or developing products for the women’s health market, this event offers an opportunity to learn, share experiences and make valuable connections.
Join our panel of leading experts for an open, engaging conversation about the relationship between nutrition, hormones, mood and wellbeing during perimenopause and menopause.
Our panel brings together a wealth of experience from clinical nutrition, nutritional education, food innovation and academia including:
- Christine Bailey MSc, BSc (Nutrition), PgDip IOPN – Award-winning Registered Nutritionist, author of The Personalised Nutrition Guide to Menopause, breathwork practitioner and Head of Nutrition Science & Education at Metagenics UK & Ireland.
- Nicola Moore – Highly respected nutritional therapist, educator and Fellow of the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, with over 20 years’ experience in nutrition, mental wellbeing and behaviour change.
- Lynette Lisk – Project Manager at the University of Greenwich, leading the Generator’s #GreHacks Knowledge Exchange Project, with a passion for education, enterprise, empowerment and strategic partnerships.
1:15pm – 2pm Panel Discussion
Moderated by Mex Ibrahim, Co-Founder of Women in the Food Industry, our fishbowl-style discussion will encourage audience participation, questions and the sharing of perspectives, creating an opportunity to explore the topics that matter most to you.
