Don’t forget the deadline to apply for free tickets for the Restaurant & Takeaway Innovation Exp, is coming up soon.  Mex is chairing a session in there on 15th October on the future for hospitality post COVID.

Last week we discovered that our co-founder Mecca Ibrahim has been nominated as a Hospitality Hero in The Staff Canteen awards. It would be wonderful if you could spare 30 seconds to vote. It’s as simple as entering your name, your job title & your email address. Round one of voting closes at 5pm on THURSDAY, 10th OCTOBER

Women Safety in Hospitality newsletter

Tickets are selling steadily for this essential panel discussion on “Women’s Safety in Hospitality,” where we bring together industry leaders and experts to explore the critical issue of safeguarding women in hospitality workplaces and public spaces. This event at Halifax‘s flagship branch on New Oxford Street aims to foster dialogue, share best practices, and develop actionable strategies to combat violence, harassment, and unsafe working conditions for women in the sector.

Chantal Coady Chocolate for Christmas Talk

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Cookery School at Little Portland Street to bring you discounted tickets to their brand new series of monthly events. Conversations Around The Cookery School Table is the place to enjoy lively discussions, networking with like-minded food lovers, and, as with all events and classes at Cookery School, the opportunity to taste some of their delicious food.

Their next event takes place on October 21st from 6pm-8.30pm and we will be discussing a number of important issues relating to buying chocolate at Christmas.  In Chocolate for Christmas: Craft vs Big Chocolate an expert panel will share their thoughts on how we should we be eating and savouring our chocolates this Christmas, to get the best out of them, and there will, of course, be samples to taste.
