Vote for Mex in The Staff Canteen Awards – voting closes 9th October

Big news – Our co-founder Mex is up for a The Staff Canteen Award 2025 in the Hospitality Hero category and this time you can vote!

Hot on the heels of her Speciality & Fine Food Fair DEI Award it was great to hear she has reached the annual TSC Awards shortlist! Here’s what The Staff Canteen say about the category: “It’s important to celebrate the selfless among us, we created this award to highlight the good deeds done by those in hospitality. Our winner will have showcased what it means to be a real hospitality hero or a team, operation, or business. They all go that extra mile to support their community, staff, colleagues and our industry.

Mex said: “I reached the finals last year and I’d really appreciate your vote – which takes less than a minute – to reach the next stage again”.

Please cast your vote here by 9th October.

Anjula Devi launches new Chef Series at The Conduit – 15th November

Anjula Devi launches Chef Series at The Conduit

The new Chef Series at The Conduit opens with Anjula Devi – chef, author, and storyteller – whose cooking is rooted in connection, empowerment, and the healing power of spices. With inspiration drawn from her father’s masala dabba, Anjula has spent a lifetime exploring the healing qualities of spices. Her dinner at The Conduit will bring these traditions to life, combining rare flavours, fresh seasonal ingredients, and a philosophy of health and empowerment.

The menu will feature a rich spread of Anjula’s signature dishes many from her best-selling book 15 Minute Indian. From lentils and vibrant vegetables to fragrant fish and paneer, all served with spiced rice and fresh rotis. Expect comforting classics like Brown Lentils with Baby Spinach, Aubergine Bhaji, and Chilli and Garlic Paneer alongside highlights such as Hariyali Monkfish and Aloo Matar—each plate a celebration of flavour, heritage, and nourishment.

Anjula’s last event at Divertimenti sold out in record time, so we’re giving you plenty of advance notice for this event.
