Beyond The Buzzwords : What B Corp Really Takes
14th July

In this candid and practical brand new event, you’ll hear from a powerhouse panel of women founders, leaders, marketing experts, coaches and chefs who have successfully steered their food and drink companies through the B Corp certification process or are following B Corp principles.

From sourcing ethical ingredients to transforming internal policies and reshaping supply chains, they’ll share the real, behind-the-scenes decisions that defined their journeys—what was difficult, what was worth it, and what they might do differently.

We’ll convene some of the sharpest minds in wellness and nutrition, including Jenny Tschiesche (nutritionist and cookbook author), Francesca Lyon (fertility expert and lead nutritionist at FUTURE WOMAN), and Dr. Jenny Goodman (ecological medicine pioneer and author of Staying Alive in Toxic Times) to break down complex topics like toxins, hormones, and lifestyle changes and share tips you can actually use.

Summer 2025 Events

Join us for the UK premiere of the award-winning documentary A Fine Line, hailed by Vanity Fair as the “Best Documentary by a First-Time Filmmaker,” celebrating world-renowned women chefs like Dominique Crenn, Cat Cora, Elena Arzak and more while tackling gender inequality.

Hosted by the US-based nonprofit, MAPP, in partnership with Brand ArcheryLes Dames d’Escoffier London and ourselves, with welcome Amandla wines (the UK’s only black female run wine company), Lucky Saint no-alcohol beer (thanks to MD Emma Heal), and canapés prepared by TV chef, educator & restaurateur Dipna Anand, followed by the film screening and a thought-provoking panel discussion with extraordinary UK women chefs, including: Activist Chef Asma Khan, owner of Darjeeling Express and awarded the Craft Guild Chefs Special Award, Sally Abé, awarded Chef of the Year in the SquareMeal Ayala Female Chef Awards, and Chef Chantelle Nicholson, Green Michelin Star owner of Apricity and more.

In this inspiring event in London, partner organizations are committed to creating a long-term impact beyond a one-day event bringing greater visibility for women.

MAPP’s Global Women Leadership Initiative provides all-paid externships part of Sky’s the Limit scholarship program presented by Delta Air Lines and PepsiCo.

Visiting US Chef Kiran Verma, a 2023 James Beard Semifinalist for Best Chef Texas is a self-taught chef who has been guided by her Indian upbringing and a love of fine cuisine. In the spirit of connection and community, Kiran will be cooking with Chef/owner Dipna Anand in her restaurant, Brilliant Gastro in Southall, West London.  She will also be connected to all participating chefs and will get the opportunity to spend some time with Anjula Devi, author, culinary educator and Consultant Chef at Manchester Utd.

Business Growth & Expansion: Panel & Lunch at The Grand York
24th June

Last but not least our friends in the North can take part in our next Women in the Food Industry Yorkshire event, which is all about business growth and expansion. Join us as we dive into the realities of scaling up without burning out or risking it all. Hear from inspiring female entrepreneurs who are in the thick of growth, have built successful large-scale operations, or have navigated the path to a profitable exit.
