BBC producers are on the hunt for the UK’s most exciting and innovative small food or drink businesses to take part in the new series of Future Food Stars which will be hosted by Gordon Ramsay on BBC One.

Hundreds of votes from gastropub chefs, food writers, pub-guide editors, top pub industry suppliers and critics were counted to reveal the country’s best gastropubs across the country. This year’s Estrella Damm List of Top 50 Gastropubs shows a number of inspiring women running award-winning pub kitchens including the pub which reached the number two spot – The Parkers Arms.

We are delighted that Great British Menu (GBM) is returning to our screens on 1st February 2022 for series 17. The BBC Two show puts the nation’s most talented chefs to the test. This year GBM has had its most significant re-vamp with a brand new panel of judges including food entrepreneur, Nisha Katona.

Chantelle Nicholson is a multi-award winning chef, former chef-owner of now-closed and much loved Covent Garden restaurant Tredwells and All’s Well, a ‘pandemic pop-up’. She is opening up her new restaurant Apricity in Spring 2022.

Lorna McNee, head chef of Cail Bruich has been recognised by internationally renowned industry awards La Liste under the ‘new talents of the year’ category. Lorna is the only British chef to be given this accolade and features alongside some of the UK’s leading restaurant names including L’Enclume and Core, who were included in La Liste’s Top 1000 restaurants in the world.
