Last week we discovered that our co-founder Mecca Ibrahim had reached the finals for the Hospitality Hero category in The Staff Canteen awards. It would be wonderful if you could spare 30 seconds to vote. It’s as simple as entering your name, your job title & your email address. The final round of voting closes at 5pm on 30th OCTOBER
A huge thanks to all who came to our event “Women’s Safety in Hospitality,” on safeguarding women in hospitality workplaces and public spaces. This event at Halifax‘s flagship branch on New Oxford Street was extremely well attended and brought together hospitality professionals, HR leaders, policymakers, and advocates looking to create safer environments for women. Rather than working in silos, it provided an opportunity to come together to initiate change and make hospitality a safer industry for all. You can read a brief recap here.
Food education, imposter syndrome, equality, social media platforms, sustainability are just a few of the topics Mex Ibrahim co-founder of Women in the Food Industry recently covered in conversation with Jenny Jefferies on Black Cat Radio.
