Sabrina Gidda
Executive Chef at The Allbright Collective, Entrant of BBC’s Great British Menu 2018 | Tatler magazine’s ‘Rising Star’ | Two time finalist in the Roux Scholarship
Sabrina Gidda is executive chef of London-based women-only members’ club AllBright.
She looks after the food and beverage at the recently launched Fitzrovia club, as well as at the new AllBright clubs set to open on Maddox Street in Mayfair in April, and in Los Angeles in the US, due to open shortly after.
She made it to the Roux Scholarship finals in both 2014 and 2015 and was previously head chef at Italian restaurant Bernardi’s in Marylebone.
She’s using her new role as a platform for encouraging more women to pursue a career in professional kitchens and to champion female-led food businesses and suppliers.
Set up by serial entrepreneur Debbie Wosskow and former chief executive of Hearst Magazines Anna Jones for women in work and business, AllBright’s members include Oscar-nominated actress Naomie Harris and House of Lords peer Martha Lane Fox.
Jones said: “We are delighted to welcome Sabrina Gidda to AllBright – first and foremost as an amazing chef who has transformed our members’ club menus, but also as a woman who has established a critically-acclaimed career in a field that still isn’t seeing enough women in senior positions.”
Sabrina will be on Saturday’s panel talking about how food changed her life.
