Ann Storr
Ann Storr is a food waste specialist, author of StorrCupboard and owner of Ann Storr Communications. Food waste is one of the biggest climate change problems of our times and she engages people to help them to reduce their waste.
StorrCupboard has been featured on BBC Radio 4’s Food Programme, BBC Radio Kent, the Evening Standard and Psychologies. She has worked with Hubbub, Small Change Big Difference, Veolia, The AllBright and Riverford Organic Farmers to create and deliver food waste workshops, menus and demonstrations; her work both helps people to reduce their waste, and capture insights that enable change.
Through Ann Storr Communications, Ann worked with Alexandra Rose Charity, HelloFresh, the People’s Fridge, Trussell Trust and Fare Share to deliver events, campaigns and social media analysis. Combining these skills with a previous career in psychology, Ann has insight into how and why people make their food decisions, and how to nudge them towards more sustainable decisions.
Ann is seeking funding to enable StorrCupboard to grow to its next level. If you fund sustainability projects, waste reduction or female entrepreneurs, please take a look at the StorrCupboard.com, and if you see potential to work together, drop her a line, she would love to chat.
Ann was in our The Politics of Food Panel & Debate at City Hall where you could find out more about the sustainability and food waste reduction projects she has worked on – Find out what happened here!
